WELL. I am certainly glad that everyone is so very happy about a bill passing or not passing. That is what is truly important in life. Not that there is a potion-thieving madman on the loose(!) Hospitals are supposed to be safe. At least now we will be able to learn from this experience, although I, of course, am not happy to have been victimized like this myself. I can only be relieved that nothing happened to one of our patients. To think that someone could come into the hospital for medical assistance only to receive more injury. It's unaccountable!

I for one think that St. Mungo's certainly needs to have a much more stringent selection process when allowing certain individuals onto the premises. This is supposed to be an institution where people can feel safe. There are far too many liars hiding within our fragile society these days. If one person has seen fit to lie about who they are, it makes one wonder what other things are occurring that we are kept in the dark of.

I for one think that Mr Black's bill is a wonderfully progressive idea. We hear of far too many cases at St Mungo's of mudb children from muggle families whose parents simply abandoned their children in department stores or who attempted gruesome exorcisms to rid the poor things of their incredible abilities and potential. It's utterly heartbreaking.

Perhaps there would even be a tax break involved for those who took in the underprivileged children!

I feel so utterly deceived. Never could I have imagined that such a seemingly kind and generous man would be capable of such a horrid act. It's always the ones you least suspect, they always say, and never has it held quite so true. And to think I attended school alongside him for so many years. That the boy I sat next to in potions would grow up to murder my dear husband's loving Aunt and Uncle. Oh! I can scarcely think of it! I've seen him save so many lives at St. Mungo's. So many lives. But how many were being lost in the meantime? How many families torn asunder by that odious Mycroft Savage? It makes me wonder if all that time he was supposedly healing disease-ridden orphan children in Africa if he was the one infecting them in the first place only to heal them to look the hero! Such villainy.

I just cannot find the words to tell my darling little girl that her Aunt will not be present at her birthday party, nor at any others for the rest of time. How do you explain death like this to such a little girl? I can only the fiendish scoundrel responsible for their grizzly deaths quickly feels the swift justice of the law's fist.

Hello Gideon, ducky! Narcissa and I have been speaking, and were curious as to if you'd yet found a young lady to accompany you to the ball on Friday?

I find it extremely disheartening that these journals are so constantly used as a platform for negativity and insult-flinging. If anything, they should be providing us with the perfect opportunity for learning about each other, and the way that others live and communicate. What better opportunity could we have to bond with our fellow wizards and witches? I personally think it's exciting. This is such a perfect chance for Mud-bloods to disprove any pre-judgments that might have been established before meeting the individual, or for purebloods to take those not of such privilege under our wings. It's an exciting time for us all!

Oh goodness, Narcissa, I feel like such an absolutely horrible person. I thought our floo was giving us some trouble getting into Hogsmeade (it ended up being on their side after the little incident on the 31st) so I went into the Ministry to see what was happening. And, as you know, the Carrows both work in the department, and so when I went in there I said hello to Amycus because, you know, it is the polite thing to do, but it was Alecto. I am so dreadfully embarrassed, both for myself and her.

I think we should give her a makeover. She's so close to her brother; maybe she's never had the proper mechanics of makeup or dressing according to your personal shape explained to her properly. Thoughts?
